A Tab holds a set of websites ( RSS feeds ) and Topics on a particular interest.
You can add as many Topics and websites in your tab as you like, and read it all in one place!
For example, the "Tech News" Tab pulls all the latest stories from 40 different technology news websites into one place.

What is a Topic?
A Topic searches all stories on Mixtab in real-time for a word or phrase, and displays any results it finds in your tab!
How do I add a website or RSS feed?
Click "Create Tab", paste your RSS url in the combobox and click "Add", give the tab a name and description and click save. You can add as many feeds to a tab as you like, and topics as well.
What is the Tab Gallery?
The Tab Gallery is a place where you can find and subscribe to tabs created by other Mixtab users. There are over one thousand tabs for you to choose from on a wide variety of interests!
How do I unsubscribe from a tab?
In the home view click "Edit Tabs" and then click the X icon for the tab you wish to unsubscribe from.
Does Mixtab support gestures?
Yes! On Mac OS X Lion you can swipe left or right to move from page to page in a tab and also in the tab gallery. You can also swipe left or right when reading a story to navigate from story to story.
How can I rearrange my tabs?
In the home view click "Edit Tabs" and then you can rearrange your tabs by dragging them in the order that you want.
How can I change the Mixtab theme?
To select a different theme, click "Settings" and then select one of eight themes by clicking "Apply".
Can I edit tabs created by other Mixtab users?
Yes! First subscribe to the tab, and then when viewing the tab click "Tab Settings" and then "Edit This Tab" which will let you edit the tab as you wish. When you edit a public tab, a private copy of that tab will be made for you, and you will be unsubscribed from the original tab.
Can I sync with Google Reader?
No, Mixtab does not sync with Google Reader, however you can import all your feeds from Google Reader into Mixtab via an OPML file.
In Google Reader, go to settings and then click the "Import/Export" tab, it will have a link that allows you to download an OPML file of your feeds. Once you have the OPML file, go to Mixtab, click on Create Tab -> Upload OMPL, and upload your OPML file there.
